Bidvest Wits coach Hunt reaction to MTN8 quarter-final win over SuperSport United

Wits prevailed 3-1 after 120 minutes of football following a 1-1 stalemate in regulation time.

In an eventful tie, Daine Klate and Henrico Botes struck in extra time after Jeremy Brockie cancelled out Sibusiso Vilakazi's second minute opener for the Students at Bidvest Stadium.

Both sides finished the match with ten men, as Buhle Mkhwanazi was given his marching orders for a dangerous tackle on Brockie, while Kingston Nkhatha talked his way into an early shower in stoppage time at the end of the second half.

"We started well and had our chances and had our chances, but they came back strongly in the second half and they had their moment of madness which cost them the match," Hunt said alluding to Nkhatha's 93rd minute dismissal.
