Amakhosi won the MTN8 Final at Orlando Pirates' expense this past weekend, while they top the Absa Premiership standings with a perfect record.
"Every player at Chiefs is part of the winning team and no matter what, if you are sitting on the grand stand or in the bench, you are still part of the team," Nkhatha says.
"So we are normal to the other guys. As long as the team that is starting is doing well because we trained every day with everybody. We are given a challenge to do well and it's good to be a Chiefs' player now once again."
Meanwhile, Nkhatha spoke of coach Stuart Baxter's insistence on playing without fear, with the Zimbabwe international a victim of the boo-brigade in the past.
"You know some supporters will always be like that. I can't say anything about them and the only thing I need to tell them is let's keep on supporting the team and it is not a one-man show... it is a collective effort. To all supporters, we will give you the result.
"The coach knows everybody. We all make mistakes when you are playing, so he always tells us that 'make mistake it's fine but don't keep on doing the same mistake', and we must keep on pushing and no matter what happens with fans because they don't play football. And when you listen to them, you won't play your normal game. You can't be killed by the fans."
Chiefs, who have won 10 games in a row in all competitions, next host Maritzburg United in the League at FNB Stadium on Saturday.
