'Komphela, Jali know all Rulani's tricks'

Club legend Eric "Tambai" Ramasike is expecting Moroka Swallows duo Steve Komphela and Andile Jali to provide a headache to Rulani Mokwena's Mamelodi Sundowns side in Saturday's MTN8 clash at the Lucas Moripe Stadium.

Saturday's quarter-final clash will see first up against the eight-placed Dube Birds in the Top 8 competition this weekend.

Komphela and Jali will be out for revenge against Mokwena with both having a reported fractious relationship with the Brazilians tactician.

Komphela alluded to being forced out at Sundowns by Mokwena since his appointment while Jali had a well-publicised tumultuous end to his Sundowns stay.

"Komphela and Jali are bringing much-needed experience to Swallows," Ramasike tells KickOff.

"I'm expecting a good game, Jali wants to prove it was a mistake to let him go.

"Steve knows how Sundowns play, he is going to have a game-plan for every Sundowns player.

"It's not going to be an easy game for Sundowns. Steve and Jali know every trick Rulani may have up his sleeve.

"They know what Rulani is going to do tactically. Zwane might be facing Jali too. It's going to be a humdinger.

"But that said, as Sundowns, we are going to have the upper hand because of the quality of our players.

"As the game progresses, Swallows will eventually tire."

Kick-off is at 15:00.
