The draw pitted the Students against Ajax Cape Town, while Kaizer Chiefs will do battle with Bloemfontein Celtic in the two-legged Cup tie, which is set to take place on the weekends of 15-16 and 29-30 August 2015.
‘Tyson’ says he is happy to be facing his former team in the semi-finals as he knows what sort of style they like to play.
“Personally, I’m very happy with the draw we got. We know what kind of team Ajax are and I’ve played for them before, so I’m quite happy about the draw results,” he says.

“They are a running team, and I know their weaknesses and strengths, so we are looking forward to it.”
The Bafana Bafana defender also feels their pre-season camp in Cape Town will play a key part in their preparations as they’ve had a feel of the conditions they will face when they travel to the Mother City for the first leg.
“We had pre-season in Cape Town, so we know our way around the weather and the hard fields. A lot of our guys are from Cape Town, and they’ve played for Ajax before, so they kind of familiar of the conditions we’ll face over there,” he adds.
The Clever Boys host the Urban Warriors in their opening Absa Premiership fixture at home this weekend, but the defensive hardman is unfazed at playing the same team three times in quick succession, and says that with precise planning from his coach the players can confidently look forward to their opening league encounter.
“It’s going to be tricky playing them three times in a short space of time. Coach Gavin [Hunt] is going to plan around it, and like I’ve said we’re just looking forward to playing Ajax.”
