Ajax will revive hostilities with Pirates in the last-32 of the competition at Orlando Stadium, having enjoyed a 3-0 victory when they collided in the league in the Cape last week.
The Buccaneers played the match under protest as uncertainty continues to surround the eligibility of Ajax striker Tendai Ndoro, who is awaiting clarity from the PSL.
Ertugral, who briefly coached Bucs at the beginning of last season, is preparing for a stern test in Soweto as Milutin 'Micho' Sredojevic's men look to exact revenge on home soil.
“It will be a different game altogether,” Ertugral is quoted as saying on his club's website.
“I can’t wait for kick-off at Orlando Stadium. I know how difficult it is for opposing teams to play in Soweto.
“Micho is a great coach and they are very close to success under his guidance. We know how difficult this game will be.
“They will come at us, but I think they’ll be a little bit more cautious this time around,” concluded the former Kaizer Chiefs tactician.
Kick-off is at 20h15.
