Goals form Ryan Moon, Bernard Parker and Joseph Malongoane secured Chiefs's spot in the last 16 of the Nedbank Cup.
Amakhosi scored two goals in the last seven minutes of the match and Larsen says the scoreline flatters the Amakhosi given the effort they have put in.
“First half not many chances from Kaizer Chiefs it’s only a free-kick that caused us problems but that was about it. We had some good moments in the first half, we had some good box entries to capitalise but the first half was fairly even,” Larsen told SuperSport TV.
“And second half [Lehlohonolo] Nonyane gets injured in the corner flag the opponent trampled on his ankle and injured him he goes back to mark but as a result he could not be tight on Katsande who peeled off because his ankle was hurting and we conceded from that.
“Second goal, two players we going for the same ball. What can we say once the second goal is in they have their tails up and start playing a bit. We got some big chances even in the second half but Khune got the Man of the Match [award] so that says a lot.
"I’m proud. I don’t think the scoreline is a true reflection of the game with the effort we have put in today. We gave the youngsters opportunities and they didn’t disappoint we can only improve from this.”
