Veteran defender Clayton Daniels says he is eager to renew rivalries with his former side as Maritzburg United face SuperSport United in the Nedbank Cup round of 32.
Daniels will be raring to earn bragging rights over his former side who he captained as the Team of Choice face a double-header of fixtures against Matsatsantsa.
Ernst Middendorp's side welcomes SuperSport in a home tie in the Nedbank Cup before a league clash five days later.
"It's a positive that we know SuperSport who is a premier division team who are well known also in the cup competitions.
"We can take those positives into the game knowing our opponent very well. Then also as preparation for them a few days later in the league."
