Official: Soweto giants to clash in Nedbank Cup semis

Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates will face off in the Nedbank Cup semi-finals.

Chiefs needed extra-time to see off Royal AM on Sunday evening and became the final side to book their spot in the last four.

Pirates, meanwhile, were taken to penalties by Dondol Stars on Saturday evening, but managed to come out on top at the Orlando Stadium.

Elsewhere, Stellenbosch FC defeated Mamelodi Sundowns on Saturday night and now have been drawn against Sekhukhune United.

Brandon Truter has now  taken a second team to a semi-final this season after guiding AmaZulu to the MTN8 semi-finals before parting ways with the club.

The Premier Soccer League will announce the dates and venues in due course.
