Kaizer Chiefs will play their Nedbank Cup match in Port Elizabeth

Despite using Moses Mabhida Stadium as an alternative venue, Amakhosi will be taking their match to Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium. "No one knows exactly, but talks had been going on about taking the game to PE," source in the club offices tells snl24.com/kickoff. According to a source, Mbombela Stadium had also been considered for hosting the match. "I heard someone saying Mbombela or PE," a second source says. Amakhosi are looking to win the Nedbank Cup to end the season on a high. Their chances of winning the Absa Premiership title have all but faded and coach Steve Komphela is likely to go all out to ensure he ends his third season at the helm with a trophy to put in the cabinet.  Amakhosi beat Baroka for the first time in January, thanks to a Leonardo Castro debut goal which earned them a 2-1 victory. That goal also won Castro the goal of the month award for January.
