Masehe: Eagles have nothing to lose

Stars are riding high in the topflight in third place with 32 points from 10 games - just six points shy of log leaders Mamelodi Sundowns with 10 matches left.

Eagles are contrastingly fighting for survival in 14th spot in the second tier with 19 points from 20 games - just one point above the drop zone.

Ea Lla Koto have beaten their upcoming opponents in previous friendlies, but Masehe insists Luc Eymael's side will not allow complacency to creep in when the action kicks off at 20h00 at Goble Park.

"We will not be underestimating Super Eagles, we are taking each and every match equally serious," Masehe told his club's website.

“We are all aware and witnessed in the past what the lower teams can do to PSL team. The team is more than ready.”

He added: “We have played a few friendly matches against them and we came out victorious, but we cannot read too much into the friendly matches. Saturday it will be a different ball game.

"I must say the pressure is on us they have got nothing to lose, but we will make sure that we finish the match in the 90 minutes, and have the bragging rights at the end of the match."
