Sekhukhune United thrashed Liver Brothers 6-0 to advance to the Nedbank Cup last 16 on Wednesday evening.
Sekhukhune coach Brandon Truter made for changes from their loss to Marumo Gallants FC, with Philani Zulu, Roderick Kabwe, Sammy Seabi and Victor Letsoalo coming back into the side.
Babina Noko pulled ahead on 12 minutes where smart bit of play saw Kabwe grab hold of Chibuike Ohizu's delivery and fired in the back of the net.
Having lost their past two matches in the DStv Premiership against Mamelodi Sundowns and Marumo Gallants FC, the host remained confident and kept the lead well intact.
The host, though, made it two on 36 minutes after former Kaizer Chiefs defender Daniel Cardoso got on the end of a cross by Letsoalo and nodded in.
Babina Noko got a chance to secure a third before the end of the first half with a free-kick in a decent area, but nothing in the end came of the move.
Liver Brothers were down to ten players over five minutes in the second half when Tony Khosa handled in the area and was dismissed whilst giving away a penalty-kick
Nigerian forward Ohizu did the honours where he stepped up and tucked away the resultant penalty to give Babina Noko a third of the evening.
Sekhukhune then brought on fresh set of legs amidst the ascendancy, as Kamohelo Mokotjo replaced Seabi before Katlego Mkhabela entered for Nyiko Mobbie.
Babina Noko regardless bagged a fourth with ten minutes remaining after Vusimuzi Mncube took an assist from Tashreeq Morris in his stride and finished off the move.
Liver Brothers woes weren't over five minutes later as Mncube completed his brace from a delivery by midfielder Train Mokhabi.
Morris made it six in the closing seconds with a clever finish and handed his side a dominant victory and a spot in the last 16 too.
