Orlando Pirates aware of dangerous Marumo Gallants threat

Pirates will be aiming to advance to the competition's quarter-finals stage against the current holders when the two sides meet in a Nedbank last 16 clash at the Peter Mokaba Stadium.

The Buccaneers are aiming to redeem themselves following their demoralising defeat to Kaizer Chiefs last weekend.

"They're on a fantastic run and have got a clear playing identity," Davids said.

"You can only admire and praise a team where you can see a coach's personality coming through within the team.

"With Marumo and their possession-based style, it's about us and how we can implement our style.

"It's about us and getting the result, but they're a good side who are in form, and they deserve compliments for what they've done so far."

Kick-off is at 18:00.
