Orlando Pirates coach Micho Sredojevic looking forward to new challenge against Ajax Cape Town

The Buccaneers host the Urban Warriors in a Nedbank Cup last 32 encounter at Orlando Stadium tomorrow night, determined to be on the winning side on home soil after they were dismantled in the Mother City by Ertugral’s boys in an Absa Premiership match.

"Playing at Orlando Stadium is an emotional element. It’s like a hospital where we are healing the souls of our supporters. This [the Nedbank Cup] is an addition injection which pushes us to do our best," Micho said.

"We are playing against a good team that is coached by my dear colleague Muhsin Ertugral, who has been with this where I am sitting now. He knows our team very well, but a new match always means a new challenge.

"We are eager and waiting for Saturday to come, so that we enjoy our football and to heal the souls of our supporters. It’s a totally different ball game. We have already forgotten that match. We are not looking for any kind of revenge. We shall see what Saturday will bring."

The Buccaneers, who will be without suspended midfielder Musa Nyatama, will have to keep a close eye on their former player Tendai Ndoro.

The Zimbabwean striker did not score in the meeting last week, but he was a handful for the Pirates defenders.

"Tendai Ndoro has been our player. We do not think about him."
