Apparently Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila players appear to be unfamiliar with cup final rules.
Senior players decided to return all their medals to the club today in solidarity with some members of their squad who did not receive anything on Saturday following their win over Chippa United.
PSL official Professor Ronnie Schloss has since explained that Vhadau Vha Damani will have to buy or manufacture their own extra medals if they want more.
"No, there's no saga. If you read the rules, the rules are clear," Schloss tells snl24.com/kickoff.
"The club gets 35, and if there's more players they have to buy the medals themselves. Otherwise the club can come with 200 players. It's always been like that for every cup final.
"What we do is we give the players who've played, who were in the other squad in the final, and after that we give the winning team a box with the other medals. That's it, 35, it's been always like that.
"Otherwise you can bring all your friends... if you've got a bigger squad, the rule is clear."
