Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane this week said he might make a few changes to his starting line-up for the cup clash and Zulu could get his chance to shine in a position that has been owned by Langerman for some time now.
Zulu, who made 19 appearances for Platinum Stars before making the move to Chloorkop last month, has been on the bench in Sundowns’ last three matches and says he has settled in well.
“I would be ready to play because I was playing at my previous team. If I get a chance, I will be ready [to deliver].”
Zulu, who grew up supporting Orlando Pirates, says he is looking forward to winning silverware with the Brazilians. The one he’d really love to get his hands on is the CAF Champions League trophy, but winning the Nedbank Cup would certainly put a smile on his face.
“This team wants to win cups and this is something I have wanted in my career. I wish to see myself lifting the Nedbank Cup and the league [trophy] as well. We are five points clear at the top and I don’t see us losing any games until the end of the season. We need to work hard.
“I’d like to win the Champions League, then I’d be happy.”
