The Chilli Boys progressed to the last-16 of the cup with a 2-0 win over Phiva Young Stars on Saturday courtesy of goals from Ayabulela Konqobe and Linda Mntambo.
On the league front, Chippa are seventh on the table with 26 points from 20 matches - 12 points adrift of leaders Mamelodi Sundowns, and five above the relegation zone.
"The more you progress to the next round the more it becomes more and more difficult for you because there's pressure," said 'Tebza', who won the Nedbank Cup as an assistant coach with Orlando Pirates in 2014.
"There's expectations and the players also now understand that they've got to go in another round of the draw, so you can expect this cup to be more difficult.
"As you have seen in the league, who's going to win the league? You are not so sure because we are number seven but the gap from us to number 14, the distance is four points.
"Look at number two, we are two points behind them [Pirates] so this is the most beautiful year in the PSL and football in South Africa. Everybody now is pulling up their socks. You saw Phiva and you saw Cape Town All Stars against Mamelodi Sundowns on Friday last week... everybody.
"It's exciting times for football. In the midst of this, if I had a crystal ball I'll tell you where I want to finish but we are taking it one game at a time."
The Nedbank Cup last-16 draw will take place at 19h30 tomorrow.
Moloi's men next visit ninth-placed Baroka in the league at Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday (15h30).
