Eva Nga’s agent reveals precarious situation

The speculation surrounding Orlando Pirates striker Bienvenu Eva Nga has been clarified as the January transfer window approaches.

Eva Nga has found himself sucked into the order of rumours linking him with a move away from the club just months after arriving from Chippa United.

The Cameroonian has scored once – on debut against Swallows back in August – in eleven appearances and has seen his game time minutes diminishing so much that he has dropped from being a starter to the bench and ultimately failed to make the match day squad in the last three league games played before the break.

He is now standing behind Kermit Erasmus, and Zakhele Lepasa in the queue for game time with Evidence Makgopa set to jump ahead of him when he starts playing.

With another Cameroonian forward Souaibou Marou already linked with the club, his level of discomfort will grow.

"Eva Nga is staying put at Pirates because he has a running contract with the club and nothing has been mentioned from the club stating otherwise," says Charles Dominguez, the player's agent.

"The club hasn't mentioned anything that they are not happy about regarding the player to suggest that he could be going out.

"He has just won his first trophy (MTN8) in South Africa and is happy.

"There hasn't been anything negative about Eva Nga besides the fact that he is working on his game.

"Fans will always have their opinions about players, and we have no control over that than to respect but Eva Nga is a strong lad who is keen on doing a job for Pirates.

"Kingston (Nkhatha) also played through similar challenges at Chiefs," says Dominguez.

Also caught up in the game time troubles is Kwame Peprah who only has six appearances this term with no goal to his name.
