Not every 19-year-old scores a match-winning goal in a Nedbank Cup final against Mamelodi Sundowns, and now Orlando Pirates' Relebohile Mofokeng gives more insight into how he scored the goal that won the tie.
The Buccaneers successfully defended their Nedbank Cup title with a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Sundowns at a sold-out Mbombela Stadium.
The Brazilians opened the scoring through Themba Zwane in the 54th minute, before Patrick Maswanganyi levelled matters from the spot kick with 20 minutes to play.

Mofokeng was brought on a substitute and, deep into added time, latched on to a Monnapule Saleng pass, and slid the ball between the legs of Bongani Zungu before knocking it past Ronwen Williams, who was reduced to a spectator during the ordeal.
Speaking to media after the match, the teenager revealed what head coach Jose Riveiro told him before he came on.
"I didn't have it in my mind that I'm the youngest player on the pitch. I just told myself I'm going to compete, I'm coming on and I'm going to compete.
"The coach told me I have to come with a plan, that I should do my best, and that's what I did.
"The goal, I can't speak too much about it," Mofokeng added.
"It was lucky. Ja, I got lucky because I trying to close i,t but the pitch supported me, I got a spy-two [on Zungu] and I was able to score.
"But it's not only me that made things happen; the defenders won the ball for us to attack, credit to Saleng as well for the assist and I scored. So, yes, it was the whole team.

The match-winning goal comes just in time as Mofokeng is set to make his national team debut after being named in Bafana Bafana's 23-man squad for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Nigeria and Zimbabwe.
