Attacking sensation Monnapule Saleng has vowed to continue his impressive Orlando Pirates form after inspiring his side to a dominant win over Mamelodi Sundowns.
Saleng was the star of the show as Buccaneers sent defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns crashing out of the 2022 MTN8 semi-final on Saturday.
The 24-year-old grabbed a brace and assisted the opener in a dominant win, earning himself the Man of the Match award.
This was also Saleng's second brace of the season after netting twice for the Buccaneers when they defeated Golden Arrows 2-0 last week.
"I'm happy about today's performance.[it's the] consistency, I want to stay consistent. I want to continue scoring goals, helping the team," Saleng told the club's media post-match.

This was Pirates' second consecutive win and the first time the Buccaneers registered two or more goals in consecutive matches this season, much to their supporters' delight.
"I think that's what the supporters want – to stay happy. I think that's what they want and we're going to work hard to make them happy," added Saleng.
"There will be moments where we don't play well. They [supporters] also will have to understand that it won't be on purpose, it's just the game. Matches won't be the same. But we'll keep trying to make them happy."
Pirates will now turn their attention to Saturday's Soweto derby against Kaizer Chiefs, who crashed out of the MTN8 at the semi-final stage after losing on away goals to AmaZulu.
Pirates will meet Usuthu for the MTN8 final at the Moses Stadium on 5 November.
