Orlando Pirates forward Thembinkosi Lorch appears to have stepped up his training regime as he edges closer to a return to action.
The 29-year-old has been out of action due to an injury sustained in August last year in a DStv Premiership clash against Supersport United.
The Buccaneers indicated earlier this month that Lorch would be expected back at the end of January and the midfielder appears to have recruited the services of renowned personal fitness trainer Vusi Mavreka Hlabangwana as he races for full-fitness ahead of his return.
Nyoso has featured just five times for Pirates, missing a total of 16 games for the Buccaneers this season due to a knee injury.
The talismanic attacker was present in the players' stand for both of Pirates' games against Golden Arrows and Stellenbosch this month and although he has returned to first team training, Lorch is still unlikely to feature for the Buccaneers' upcoming clash against Marumo Gallants.
The Sea Robbers have also welcomed back Nigerian centre-back Olisah Ndah, who has been out of action since December.
The Buccaneers are sitting in fourth position on the DStv Premiership table and are enduring a fluctuating season, with two wins and three losses from their last five outings.
Their opponents are stuck at the foot of the Premiership table with just two wins from 19 matches.
