The move to head to Europe was alluded to by Riveiro, who insisted that although his side had dominated the competition, he expects teams to improve next season and Pirates would have to do things differently to stay ahead.
"Everyone will start with zero points and at nil-nil in every competition. We'll try to do things differently in every competition," Riveiro said after Pirates Nedbank Cup final win over Sekhukhune United in May.
"If we do the same things, we are not going to get the same results as this season. We need to move forward because every team is going to move forward as well."
