Orlando Pirates wingback Thabiso Monyane says last season's league runners-up have set their sights on clinching the treble after collecting two trophies in each of their last two campaigns.
Pirates successfully defended the Nedbank Cup and MTN8 titles in 2023/24, after unseating Sundowns from both thrones in the season prior.
However, Jose Riveiro's men have struggled to collect a third trophy – their CAF Champions League ambitions went up in smoke after being knocked out by minnows Jwaneng Galaxy of Botswana, while also crashing out of the Carling Knockout courtesy of Richards Bay FC.

Speaking to media at the club's launch of next season's kits at Orlando Stadium on Tuesday, the soft-spoken star believes the third time could be the charm.
"We also know that for the past few seasons, we haven't started the season as good as we wanted to, so we'll be looking to rectify that. We want to start this season well," Monyane told journalists.
"We also want to retain our titles – the MTN8 and the Nedbank Cup. We also want to add one more in the cabinet and make it a treble. Those are our ambitions, those are our goals for this season."
"We are looking forward to competing. We don't want to repeat the mistakes of last season, which we know what happened in the CAF space, we bowed out very early. We are looking forward to going all the way to get a second star.
"I will quote from my last interview: I'm not looking forward to leaving the club without a second star."

"We're looking forward to starting the season on a high note, as I said, and the rest will take care of itself because know what we are capable of.
"We know that we can finish the season strong, which is something that we've proved [in the past], so we're looking forward to being consistent throughout the season.
"Even if it's rough sometimes, we don't have to play beautiful football, as long as we grind out the results, get that 1-0. It's still a win and it's going to get you out there."
The Buccaneers will begin the CAF Champions League journey with a preliminary round tie against Madagascar outfit CNaPS Sport on 16 August.
