Orlando Pirates head coach Jose Riveiro was full of praise for striker Terrence Dzvukamanja for his impact off the bench to help the Buccaneers seal a crucial win over Golden Arrows.
Riveiro's men ended an embarrassing run of three consecutive losses with a 3-1 win over Abafana Bes'thende at the Orlando Stadium Soweto on Saturday.
Monnapule Saleng broke the deadlock in the first half and after Velemsweni Ndwandwe leveled matters in the second half, Terrence Dzvukamanja and Vincent Pule came off the bench and scored a goal each to seal the first win of the year for the Sea Robbers.

Speaking to journalists after the game, Riveiro praised the influence of Dzvukamanja, who found himself at the receiving end of some booing from sections of Bucs' supporters as he came on.
"In this case, I'm so happy. it was justice that he came in [and] against all the odds, he was very badly received and he managed to score a goal, which is going to be very important for the team," said Riveiro.
"That's why they [players] are here, to go there and do their best. If we all help them do it, If we all support them in difficult moments, because it's not the same to go into the field with 20 minutes left when you're leading 3-0 then to go with the responsibility to change the result.
"I think that Terrence and the other players who came from the bench did a fantastic job."
After slipping out of the top eight following a poor run of form, the win against Arrows takes Pirates back up to fifth position on the DStv Premiership table, just two points behind rivals Kaizer Chiefs who fell 4-0 to AmaZulu on Friday night.
The Buccaneers will look to keep up the momentum when they face Stellenbosch on Sunday at the Orlando Stadium.
