Orlando Pirates coach Jose Riveiro will arrive at Orlando Stadium on Tuesday evening for his 20th home league match with a feeling of discomfort following what has been a dreadful start to the DStv Premiership.
Pirates play host to Sekhukhune United – another club with their own fair share of issues with Brandon Truter already swimming in crocodile infested waters – and both ends of the dugouts will be tense.

Pirates remain stuck in 13th place with nine points from the opening eight league games.
So bad is their league run that they have only won twice, lost thrice, and drawn another three and have now become the first club that Cape Town Spurs have taken points from.
Having played the same number of games as leaders Mamelodi Sundowns, Pirates already sit 15 points behind the champions which could a title challenge is already out of the window with only a third of the season played.
For all the joy that has come with the three trophies that Riveiro has delivered since his arrival at the beginning of the 2022/23 season, what matters most is the league which is what he needs to fix with immediate effect especially with the Soweto derby coming up on Saturday.
No win in the last four league games means a win against Sekhukhune on Tuesday night is non-negotiable otherwise The Ghost could start making the Spaniard start feeling restless.

Since Riveiro arrived at Pirates, this is now the worst run of results in the league for the club.
The last time Pirates went four league games without a win was under Mandla Ncikazi and Fadlu Davids at the start of the 2021/22 season when they failed to pick up a win against Sundowns, Cape Town City, Maritzburg United, and Royal AM.
