In this week's edition of Story Behind The Nickname feature, KickOff speaks to the legendary Jerry 'Legs Of Thunder' Sikhosana about the culture of nicknames in South African football.

"And Themba Zwane grew up with the nickname Mshishi. He was 2 years old when he played with my son in Thembisa as a friend.
"I have known him as Mshishi from a young age, it's not a nickname he got from football.
"I was Legs Of Thunder because of the type of football I was playing, and there was Brandon 'Sgcebhezane' Silent, Helman 'Midnight Express' Mkhalele, Isaac 'Shakes' Kungwane, Doctor '16V' Khumalo, Thabo 'Tsiki Tsiki-Yo!' Mooki.
"Where did those nicknames come from and where did they vanish to? We inherited them from legends like Jomo Sono and Wagga Wagga Likoebe, we continued with the trend of those South African nicknames," he added.
