Midfielder Miguel Timm says Orlando Pirates will not be satisfied with two trophies should they win the Nedbank Cup and will still be aiming to dethrone Mamelodi Sundowns over the league title next season.
The Buccaneers are putting in the final preparations for Saturday's Nedbank Cup final against Sekhukhune United.
Winning the prestigious trophy would see Pirates secure two trophies this season after securing the MTN8.
"No, it's an honest answer," Timm responded when asked if winning the Nedbank Cup would be any consolation to losing out on the league title.

"As much as we are happy with qualifying for the Champions League, one of the targets we set for the group was to compete for the title.
"The positive we will take is that a solid foundation has been set for the future and we'll give it a go next season.
"I'm not saying we are not happy reaching two cup finals, but we have the capacity to do more."
The Brazilians wrapped up the DStv Premiership title as early as April and enjoyed a 16-point lead over second-placed Pirates after the final match-day.
"I don't, and I think none of us compare ourselves to them (Sundowns). We have set our foundation and the more we improve on what we've done this season, the closer we will get [to Sundowns] and time will tell," Timm added.
Pirates take on Sekhukhune United in the final of the Nedbank Cup to be played at Loftus Versfeld on Saturday.
Kick-off is at 18:00.
