Head coach Jose Riveiro has defended his Orlando Pirates side against a perceived lack of form while highlighting positive results over recent weeks including a Soweto derby triumph.
Pirates dropped points in a goalless draw against Richards Bay at the Moses Mabhida Stadium, on Saturday.

"I don't discuss the schedule; it's for everybody. We won the last two games. Today we drew away, and getting seven points out of nine, playing the derby and facing Richards Bay away is not that bad," Riveiro said.
"If we keep talking about the beginning of the season when we dropped points against AmaZulu and recently against Polokwane City at home, a couple of draws that are not pushing us higher on the log, but at the moment, the team is good.
"Seven points out of nine in recent games after a not-so-good period for us in terms of getting results.
"The team is playing well; today, we came here without fullbacks, playing Hotto on the left and Makarine on the right. We're trying to do our best; the team is still competing, and we're still offering good games every time we step onto the field.
"So, there is nothing wrong. Just like I said, the start of the games is not good.
"I am not worried about a lack of goals, but concerned about the way sometimes we start the games, which is not the right one."
The Sea Robbers next are gearing up to face TS Galaxy in a DStv Premiership clash at Orlando Stadium on December 9.
