Polokwane City could be at risk of losing another key player, with experienced midfielder Manuel Kambala being the latest to attract interest, among several important members of the squad set to exit the Limpopo outfit.
The 32-year-old joined Rise and Shine at the start of the season after parting ways with the now-promoted Magesi FC.
Kambala blossomed to a key player for the top-flight returnees, making 22 appearances in all competitions. The defensive midfielder also completed nine of the team's last 10 matches of the season, as City battled to an eighth-spot finish.

However, the club looks set to be raided by top Premiership teams with Oswin Appollis at the top of the list of expected departures.
Fresh information reaching this website is that Kambala is the latest to attract interest from opposition, with as many as two sides understood to have added the Mozambican on their shopping list ahead of the transfer window.
It is understood that although no official talks have been held with Kambala's camp or City, Richards Bay FC, currently awaiting their fate in the play-offs, and Sekhukhune United are both keeping an eye on developments around the midfielder's situation at Rise and Shine.
With the side having accomplished their mandate of a Top Eight finish, the next mission for City's hierarchy will be keeping their top players.

They will also need to strengthen their squad if they hope to hold their own in the elite division next season.
"Honestly, I can confirm that the mandate was not to go into the Top Eight, the mandate was for us to save the status of the team," head coach Phuti Mohafe said in May.
"So, for us to qualify into the Top Eight is a mission accomplished and a great achievement for the entire Polokwane City starting from the players up until the chairman."
