Chippa United thrashed Magesi FC 4-1 on Wednesday afternoon, after the clash had been abandoned the night before the Seshego Stadium.
The Limpopo outfit were in desperate need of three points with their last competitive win coming in the Carling Knockout Cup final in November, while Chippa fell to Polokwane City over the weekend.
The opening of the first half was disrupted after just one minute after a power cut at the Seshego Stadium, which was hosting it's first-top flight clash of the season.
After 20 minute delay, the game resumed and Magesi made the intentions clear right away when Mcedi Vandala found the back of the net to open his account in the Betway Premiership.
The lead did not last too long, as Chippa were back on terms a minute later when Sinoxolo Kwayiba found the back of the net, taking his tally to three league goals in the process.
The game resumed at 12h00 on Wednesday afternoon with the score poised at 1-1 on 21 minutes.
However, the Chilli Boys picked up from where they left off by taking the lead four minutes after the restart though Craig Martin's second league goal of the season.
The visitors ended the half on a dominant note after bagging a third goal, with Seun Ndlovu opening his account for the campaign in his seventh league appearance.
The Chilli Boys showed no signs of slowing and added fourth goal in the second half as Kwayiba completed his brace in the 66th minute, which funny enough made it two goals in two days for the midfielder.
The win takes Chippa up to 11th position on the Betway Premiership table, while Magesi remain rooted to the foot of the table with just one win from 15 matches.
