Stellenbosch FC came back from a goal down to defeating TS Galaxy 3-2 in an action-packed Betway Premiership clash on Tuesday evening.
The Maroons had Sihle Ndluli back from suspension, as Galaxy named Kamogelo Sebelebele on the bench and started Nhlanhla Mgaga.
Stellies caught the host in their wake and took the lead when Devon Titus pounced onto Andre De Jong's assist in the box and finished with ease.
Titus then embarked on a reversal of roles moments later as he teed-up Khomotjo Lekoloane to go on and double the lead, but the attacker didn't read the script.
Galaxy started piling the pressure minutes apart and were level when Victor Letsoalo showed the presence of mind to beat Sage Stephens with a clever shot.
The Rockets changed personnel at the break and summoned Sebelebele on for Marks Munyai as well as Solomon Letsoenyo for Qobolwakhe Sibande.
Sebelebele immediately impacted proceedings when he got wide to play in a cross for Dzenan Zajmovic to head in and put them ahead.
Galaxy were in control at this stage and nearly added a third goal through a penetrative effort by Sphiwe Mahlangu as the visitors battled to find ground, but the effort didn't find target.
The Maroons didn't lose momentum though but were close to levelling a little later through a probing attempt by new man Lesiba Nku.
Steve Barker's men remained courageous and got back on equal terms when substitute Ashley Cupido nodded home a cross from Sanele Barns.
The duo combined again in the dying minutes as Barns set Cupido in behind and saw the forward take aim to complete his brace and helped Stellies to victory.
