Kaizer Chiefs battled back to salvage a point after drawing 1-1 with Sekhukhune United on Saturday evening.
Interim coach Cavin Johnson provided two changes from Chiefs 1-0 win over Richards Bay FC, as Christian Saile gave way for Ashley Du Preez before Sibongiseni Mthethwa replaced Edson Castillo.
Du Preez, who just returned from injury was presented an opening 15 minutes in with a snap shot from a tight angle but fired straight at Renaldo Leaner.
Babina Noko turned up a minute later and saw Siphosakhe Ntiya-Ntiya slam the foot of the post through a low shot from the left of the attacking area.
More danger followed the Amakhosi a few minutes gone, as Kamohelo Sithole got out wide to beat Yusuf Maart in a one-on-one and saw his shot off Dove scooped from the goal-line by Bruce Bvuma.
Babina Noko were rewarded in the last four minutes to halftime when an unmarked Elias Mokwana showed a decent leap to head in off Bvuma's outstretched glove.
Johnson unleashed a substitution in the second period, with Gonzalez removed and Saile Basomboli summoned to take the field of play.
Saile Basomboli missed a big chance to impact proceedings ten minutes past his entry when he volleyed a cross from the left of the area wide off an inviting position in the area.
Chiefs became pretty desperate following the latter stages in pursuit of the equaliser through shots from afar by Du Preez and Mmodi but neither hit target.
However, the Soweto giants were rewarded ten minutes before time when Ranga Chivaivro combined with Saile's layoff and slammed in the top corner.
There were no further goals from either side towards full-time, as the Soweto giants and their counterparts from Limpopo shared the spoils.
