In this week's edition of My Welcome To The League Moment, former Wits University FC goalkeeper Jacob Mokhasi reveals how his new teammates made him cry.
"Mine came a long time ago when I started playing professional foootball at Wits University," Mokhasi tells KickOff.
"And by then, Wits was white-dominated. And my defenders were all white players [laughs].

"Neil Winstanley was my center-back, and then we had Ryan Haskins as a left-back. And now, I had to communicate with these guys in English, but the thing is my English was so bad.
"So during the match, I wanted to warn them that there's a man behind. I shouted at Haskins in Sesotho, Skin! As I used to call him. Skin! Skin! There's a man ka mora hao!
"But instead of Haskins turning his attention to the opposition player, he turned his focus to me, hey man, this language you are speaking to us I don't understand what are you saying now? please speak English [laughs].
"Then again, still new at the professional level, it was my first time playing under the lights at night. We were playing against Ajax Cape Town in Athlone.
"So the ball flew into our box, but it was difficult for me to catch it because it was straight with the light and made it difficult for me to see. I was blinded by lights.
"My teammates asked me what happened. With my broken English I replied, 'Because it's tonight!' [Laughs]. They all said to me, that's why you need to go to school.'

"We then went to play against Dynamos, I made a blunder and they scored. Fortunately, we won the game 2-1. But yeey! After the match when we got into the bus. Imagine the distance from Tzaneen to Jozi. Hayi my brother these white people were killing me.
"Taking turns, they were shouting at me, Ja you think you've made it? Do you think you are a top player now? Do you think the world revolves around you? You think you are the best...for the whole 30 minutes I had to listen to that.
"I cried for 30 minutes, and after that, they said to me...Welcome to professional football. After crying for 30 minutes, I was shocked to learn they were just fooling me around."
