Namibia national team coach Collin Benjamin on Monday recalled Ronald 'Stiga' Ketjijere to the national team for their friendly encounter against Bafana Bafana in September and the forthcoming CHAN qualifiers.
It had been four years since Ketjijere last represented The Brave Warriors which remarkably enabled him to focus on club football while being a practising attorney.

Ketjijere is far from the 'typical footballer' after attaining his Bachelor of Law (LLB) degree during his four-year spell featuring for the University of Pretoria.
"I'm playing full-time for African Stars juggling my job as a lawyer which involves representing clients in court," Ketjijere tells KickOff after arriving in Johannesburg for a club assignment.
Namibian champions African Stars host Power Dynamos at Dobsonville Stadium in the first round, first leg of the CAF Champions League on Saturday.

"The joke around the block has been that I will play until I'm 40 because if guys like Zlatan (Ibrahimovic) have done it then why not me.
"My focus has been on playing and assisting my club without aiming for a call-up though I did see it coming since Collin Benjamin took over as he has always been in communication with me.
"He always wanted me to come and assist in that holding midfielder role since they are still struggling in that position," says Ketjijere while then detailing how he handles his lawyer duties.

"We have a system called e-justice so one can work remotely as long as the support staff is in office so I can draft papers and file them while in training camps, so the work still continues.
"Nothing ever stops, and this is still similar to what I did while studying in varsity and this has always been about striking the balance.
"I'm more a civil lawyer in my line of practice as I do civil matters.
"I litigate in the High Court and Supreme Court with my focus more on civil matters, reviewing applications, and procurement matters.

"With studies I hold a B Juris (University of Namibia) which I got before joining TUKS after which I attained my LL. B at the University of Pretoria.
"Thereafter I got my admission as a legal practitioner at the High Court of Namibia, and I also now have Right of Audience at the Supreme Court of Namibia which is a certificate that allows me to appear at the Supreme Court.
"I have practising for five years now while also sweating it out on the pitch with my club.

"Through this, I hope to inspire many even though some are surprised how I do it including my boss because just last Friday I had an urgent application and had to wake up at midnight to draft heads of argument to file at 06h00 then played 90 minutes on Saturday.
"For me, it is all about managing my time and trying to rest when I get time and I'm glad my teammates appreciate what I do.
"I have taken the less travelled route in being a lawyer and playing football at the same time, so I inspire myself every day because I never want to do any mediocre work on the field or in court," explains Ketjijere.
