In this week's edition of My Welcome To The League Moment, KickOff catches up with the hilariously funny Naughty Mokoena.
The former Moroka Swallows star shares a story of how testing his first-ever flight was.
"My biggest test in PSL football came the day we had to travel to Ivory Coast with an airplane, and I had just joined Swallows," Mokoena tells KickOff.
"It was a pre-season friendly, I was a youngster amongst big stars like Andries Mpondo, Goodman Hlongwane, Joseph Rapelego, and Eric Ramasike.
"So at the airport, I couldn't stop asking them how long this thing was going to be in the air. I was nervous.
"Their response was not so comforting though; they said to me, 'Hey man, go in there and take a nap. We will wake you up as soon as we land.'
"And my man, it was a long flight. You should have seen me when the flight took off, I was shaking, man. There was a stage where I almost cried, asking myself why did I agree to this.
"I tried to look around, and people were relaxing. I want to take a nap but ubuthongo abufiki. I didn't want to die in my sleep.
"I want to take a peek in the window, but I'm scared to even look outside. I'm shaking. At least if that thing has normal windows like a house, manje the windows of that thing are too small, man.
"I was so relieved when we finally landed in Ivory Coast, but unfortunately, we couldn't play because their head of state passed away when we got there.
"That meant the date of our flight to go back home had to be brought forward. My stress returned immediately. Again, I must travel inside that thing? That was me asking myself.
"Awu kwangiphinda lokho. Remember, most of us are used to traveling by taxis, buses, and trains. I almost asked the Swallows coaches to put me in a bus."
