In this edition of Where Are They Now, KickOff catches up with former Moroka Swallows and Hellenic defender Peter Petersen as he talks about being caught on TV cameras in a compromised position.
Petersen, who has taken up a coaching career since retirement from playing explains how he ended up stripping naked during one of Swallows' Premier Soccer League clashes.
The 43-year-old was once caught on camera, during a live match, taking off his shorts.
Who is Peter Petersen?
"Peter Petersen is from Ocean View, a small little township in Cape Town. I turned professional while I was still at school.

"That was after I had joined the Hellenic Academy. That's where I turned professional. I think I was 17 when I made my debut."
Your playing days?
"At Swallows, it's where I enjoyed my football. We were always competing for honours. Winning my first trophy was the biggest thing for me, the Absa Cup."
Do you remember the incident where you went kaalgat in front of the whole of SA?
"I blame the former Swallows coach Viktor Bondarenko for that [laughs]. We were playing at the Mehlareng Stadium in Tembisa.
"So, the change rooms were on the opposite side of the bench.
"What happened is the referee did warn me before the game to take off my red tights, we didn't have maroon tights yet.
"But during half-time, I decided to put back my red tights on. In the second half, I forgot and went for a slide-tackle, and again the referee saw my red tights.
"So, he sent me out to go and take them off. I tried to run to the change rooms, but Bondarenko went crazy [laughs]. He said to me, 'Nooooo! Where are you going? Take it out, here!' [Laughs].
"So at that moment, I didn't even realise cameras were focusing on me. I just took off my shorts and the tights. But luckily Bra Junior [Molefe], the kit man, tried to cover some of my private parts with a jacket, but he was too late. You know that time the blood is flowing, you just do your thing. But fortunately, all they saw was my bum.
"I think my mother called me on a Monday to ask me, what were you thinking? [Laughs]."
Did you make money from soccer?
"No, you had to take care of yourself outside of football. At that time, there was no money. Today, it's much easier with all the money flying around.
"The most I earned was just over R100 000, and that was at Maritzburg United."
Where are you living?
"I'm a single father. I have got three kids studying at university. I'm based in Pietermaritzburg, KZN. I love it here, it's home."

Jobs since playing the game?
"I headed [up] the development at Maritzburg United, for the last 12 years."
Your current job?
"I have my own programme. It's still a bit quiet. We will launch very soon. It's the PSD Academy. We just want to combine education and sport, which is an area we are lacking big time."
