DStv Prem rival chasing Sundowns' Makgalwa

The future of midfielder Keletso Makgalwa remains uncertain at DStv Premiership champions Mamelodi Sundowns with a top-flight rival circling the situation.

Makgalwa is back at Chloorkop and training with the reserve team after spending time at second division side All Stars in the Motsepe Foundation League last season.

The 26-year-old was previously linked with a move to the University of Pretoria during the off-season, with the Tshwane-based outfit preferring the signature of Promise Mkhuma.

The Limpopo-born midfielder is now being linked with a transfer switch to DStv Premiership rivals Richards Bay.

"Makgalwa is still still training with the reserve team. Richards Bay are interested and are preparing to approach Mamelodi Sundowns for a potential loan deal," a source close to the club tells KickOff.

Striker Gift Motupa is another player who remains in limbo at Chloorkop  with his future uncertain after falling down the pecking order under Rulani Mokwena at Sundowns.
