With a third of the DStv Premiership campaign played, Richards Bay's Salim Jamal Magoola is emerging as the league's new goalkeeping sensation in a fairytale season.
Where there has been Itumeleng Khune, Ronwen Williams, or Denis Onyango dominating the domestic goalkeeping scene throughout the last decade, a new shot-stopper is emerging.

Ugandan keeper Salim Jamal Magoola is quietly establishing himself as an important influence during Richards Bay's fairytale start to the season.
Magoola has kept an incredible eight clean sheets and conceded just on three occasions in his first 11 appearances in a debut season in the DStv Premiership.
Richards Bay also have the lowest goals conceded in the entire league as the Durban side sit third in the league standings.
Magoola has only been beaten by Dillan Solomons' penalty in a defeat to Kaizer Chiefs.
SuperSport United forward Bradley Grobler was also only able to beat Magoola from the spot leaving Decon Titus of Stellenbosch as the only player to have been able to score past the Ugandan keeper in almost 1000 minutes of football.
Maritzburg United, Orlando Pirates, AmaZulu, TS Galaxy, Royal AM, Sekhukhune United, Marumo Gallants, and Golden Arrows have all failed to find a way past Magoola.
Cape Town City will be hoping for better fortunes when they arrive at the King Goodwill Zwelithini Stadium on Wednesday evening.
Magoola joined Richards Bay at the beginning of the season from Pretoria Callies in the Motsepe Foundation Championship where he spent a season.
The 27-year-old played 18 games for Callies after receiving his papers helping the club to safety with some commanding displays.
He had come in from Sudan where he spent seven years playing for the two biggest clubs Al Merreikh and Al Hilal.
In Sudan, he won the league title and was a runner-up on five occasions getting to feature in the CAF Champions League for seven years during which he also featured also in the CAF Confederation Cup for a year.
Back home in Uganda he played for Express FC and Kampala City Council but has found himself standing at the back in the queue for game time in the national where Denis Onyango dominated before retiring with Charles Lukwago, Benjamin Ochan, Ismail Watenga, and Giosue Bellagambi amongst those now in contention.
With the weight of his profile growing in the DStv Premiership, he is expected to move further forward in the queue and could as well attract interest from the bigger clubs.
