Anything less than that will mean Richards Bay will have to deal with an extended season and the risk of coming up against University of Pretoria and Baroka FC in the three-team Play-Offs to determine who joins the DStv Premiership as the 16th team next season.
The Play-Offs will run from June 2-18.
With that possibility on the horizon, Richards Bay will have the benefit of having Magoola available after his omission from the latest Uganda squad due to play Botswana (June 7) and Algeria (June 10).
These dates clash with the Play-Offs.
The Cranes coach, Paul Put, has settled for Ismail Watenga of Golden Arrows, plus another three keepers playing in Ethiopia and Uganda.
Magoola has been the preferred choice between the posts this season, playing 26 games, with speculation about interest from Kaizer Chiefs reignited.
Last season, he became the subject of a move to the Glamour Boys after being nominated for the Goalkeeper of the Season award.

The 28-year-old is no stranger to the demands of big clubs having previously been with the big two in Sudan – Al Hilal and Al-Merrikh.
