Richards Bay set to offload Kenyan international

DStv Premiership side Richards Bay are set to finalise the departure of Kenyan midfielder Ovella Ochieng after a brief spell at the club.

Ochieng joined Richards Bay in December at the end of 2022 from Botswana outfit Township Rollers.

The 22-year-old midfielder also featured in Sweden before joining Rollers and then going on to seal a switch to the DStv Premiership.

According to sources within the club, Richards Bay have already notified the player of their intention to offload the Kenyan international.

"His agent has been informed on the club's decision," a source tells KickOff.

"It's just a matter of time before the club makes an official announcement."

Meanwhile, Richards Bay could also part ways with midfielder Luvuyo Memela who joined the Natal Rich Boyz from AmaZulu.
