Richards Bay to file PSL complaint on Chivaviro matter

DStv Premiership side Richards Bay are intent on filing a complaint with the PSL regarding striker Ranga Chivaviro being signed by Kaizer Chiefs after reportedly signing a pre-contract agreement with the Durban outfit.

Richards Bay has since reportedly filed a complaint to the PSL's Dispute Resolution Committee after Chivaviro was unveiled by Chiefs on Monday.

The 30-year-old striker signed a three-year deal with the Soweto giants after allegedly signing a two-year deal with Natal Rich Boyz in January, before his move to Gauteng.

"The matter is now with the PSL. Richards Bay have all the papers to prove that the player signed with them before moving to Kaizer Chiefs," a source within the club tells KickOff.

Chivaviro's agent, Herve Tra Bi refused to comment on the matter while Richards Bay boss Jomo Biyela also referred KickOff back to Tra Bi.
