Maduka aiming for important win as Royal AM remedy bad run

Head coach John Maduka says Royal AM have no excuses to not win their upcoming DStv Premiership clash against Sekhukhune United.

Thwihi Thwahla are set to lock horns with Sekhukhune United in a DStv Premiership fixture at Chatsworth Stadium on Saturday and both teams ago into the clash somewhat desperate for points.

Maduka's side has just onw win in the last five Premiership games while Truter's Sekhukhune has lost three of their last five. Neither team was able to win their last encounter with Sekhukhune falling to Cape Town City and Royal AM battling to a hard-fought draw against AmaZulu.

Maduka expects more of the same on Saturday.

"I think they [Sekhukhune] lost [their last game] so coming to us, it's like another derby. Because these two teams, their history, so that alone it's like a cup final,"

"But it's a game that we're playing at home and it's very important for us start collecting maximum points because if you look at the log table it's very, very tricky.

"So it's very important for us to pass that mark of 30 points, then we can start targeting whoever on top there, but for now we really need points and this is our home game.

"It's a game that we'll try and prepare for and rectify the mistakes we made [against AmaZulu] so that we don't repeat this mistakes against Sekhukhune

"It's a going to be a difficult game but a home game so no excuses, we must go all out and try to make our supporters happy."
