The first goal that Elias 'Dominguez' Pelembe scored in the DStv Premiership will linger long in the memories of those that saw that beauty in September 2007.
His marker from Jomo Cosmso was left in a pile after a body swerve that even those sitting in the stands stunned before finishing off.

SuperSport United coach Gavin Hunt was thrilled that the skinny Mozambican that he brought in during winter was already delivering goals in only his second league appearance.
Sixteen years have since gone by since Pelembe introduced himself to the domestic and he is still leaving defenders crawling the same that he did in 2007 when he arrived.
Pelembe has been scored plenty beauties, won titles, and is still going strong to this day at Royal AM after stints with SuperSport, Mamelodi Sundowns, BidVest Wits, and Polokwane City.
Just last season, the 39-year-old scored thrice and provided four assists in 29 appearances and was able to play 90 minutes in 10 games.
"The most important thing that I have to tell you about Pelembe has natural talent, is taking good care of it with passion and has a good head above his shoulders," says Carlos 'Carlitos' Chimomole, who signed with Pelembe at SuperSport United from Mozambican club Desportivo Maputo in July 2007.

"With all the talent that Pelembe has he is still training properly all the time without skipping any session.
"It is for that reason that he will turn 40 this year while still playing in the PSL.
"In football when you have the talent you also need to understand how to take care of it at a professional level.
"Just because you have the talent doesn't mean you must then sit on top of it and just expect it to carry you all the way.
"Professional football doesn't like that, and this is what a lot of the so-called talented players have failed to do.

"For Pelembe to be the top player that he has been for all these years has been down to that he respects his job and takes care of his body.
"The life that you choose to live outside football matters most in determining how far you will go in football.
"If you have talent and not making the extra effort need in the professional then you will become good playing in the township tournaments and not professional football.
"The reason why Pelembe is still playing is because he hasn't taken the choice of a reckless life away from football.
"When he comes home to Maputo he trains at home.

"When I started playing with him here in the academy at Desportivo Maputo I already told my brother that there is a top player coming to the first team.
"We were together in the same team when we were teenagers and now, he is 39 and still playing so you must appreciate that.
"In professional football you need to realise the need to train hard to stay ahead and relevant even when you are talented.
"Pelembe loves football and I say this because I know that when he is not playing football then he is thinking about football.
"When we are together, we are always talking about football and even when he comes home for the holidays he never stops playing.

"Pelembe is a top player and I'm sure he can still play another two to three years.
"This thing of retiring will be up to him.
"When he is on the field you can never pick up out as being 39 because of the things that he is able to do with the ball.
"Just the other day someone sent me a video of him skinning alive a Jomo Cosmos defender to score his first goal in 2007.
"This guy is amazing and the last game that the national team played here in Maputo he also left another Senegalese defender for dead.
"Never make the mistake of wanting to judge him based on age because you will be disappointed," says Chimomole.
