Veteran defender Thabo Matlaba is set to remain at Royal AM next season after agreeing on a contract extension with the ambitious KwaZulu Natal-based outfit.
Matlaba's current deal with Royal AM was set to expire at the end of June with the club now extending the player's stay.

The Shaun Mkhize-owned club have moved swiftly in extending the former Orlando Pirates midfielder's contract by a further year.
"Thabo Matlaba is staying at Royal AM. He is happy to stay in KwaZulu-Natal and continue his career at Royal AM," a source tells KickOff.
Meanwhile, Royal AM are also close to securing the signature of left-back Lebohang Mabotja from the relegated side, Marumo Gallants.
