DStv Premiership side Royal AM could sensationally be facing a penalty fee of R500 000 in compensation to midfielder Moffat Mdluli.
Mdluli has laid a complaint against his former side to the PSL Dispute Resolution Chamber for unfair dismissal after terminating his contract at the end of 2022.

The former SuperSport United midfielder's contract with the Durban side is set to expire in June this year.
According to sources close to Royal AM, the club are preparing to challenge the decision made by the football body after ordering the club to reinstate Mdluli and pay him his outstanding financial compensation.
"Moffat took the club to the DRC and won the case this week," a source tells KickOff.
"Royal AM are not happy about the decision because they feel Mdluli turned down the club's offer to sell him to another team.
"They are going to challenge the decision."
Meanwhile Serbian striker Samir Nurkovic is also in the middle of a legal dispute with the Shaun Mkhize-owned side for the same issue that is being heard by FIFA.
Royal AM could not be reached for comment.
