Bafana Bafana's hopes of qualifying for the African Nations Championship took a knock after a 2-0 defeat to Angola in the first leg on Sunday evening.
South Africa got to the second round of qualifiers after overcoming Comoros 1-0 on aggregate with a relatively young squad.
This time around coach Helman Mkhalele was able to call on the likes of Sibusiso Sibeko, Siphesihle Ndlovu and Luvuyo Memela, while Mamelodi Sundowns' Reyaad Pieterse was in goal.

However, Bafana were not able to get the job done on the day, as goals from Daniel Kilola and Jaredi Teixeira sealed a first-leg win for Angola at at the Estadio de 11 Novembro.
Mkhalele will prepare his charges for the second leg, which is scheduled to take place at Orlando Stadium on Sunday, 4 September.
It remains to be seen if the same squad will be utilised as both the DStv Premiership and Motsepe Foundation Championship will resume next weekend.
