SuperSport United sign Amajimbos South Africa Under-17 star Khanyisa Mayo

Mayo, who scored two goals in Cairo on Saturday as Amajimbos booked their place at the 2015 CAF African Youth Championships at the expense of Egypt, has scored five goals in eight games for the national youth side.

SuperSport CEO Stan Matthews has known the 16-year-old since birth as his father – former Kaizer Chiefs striker Patrick Mayo – was his first ever signing for Matsatsantsa.

Mayo junior will now sign his first professional contract with the Pretoria club in January. Matthews confirms that Mayo junior's younger brother will also be joining the club.
