Bafana Bafana star Fagrie Lakay continued his goal-scoring form for Egyptian giants Pyramids, who lead the log in the Egyptian Premier League with 10 matches to play.
Pyramids hosted Bala El Mahalla in matchday 24 of the Egyptian Premier League on Wednesday night.
The 27-year-old South African opened the scoring for the visitors in the 24th minute, before Ahmed Sally cushioned the lead with a second late in the match.

The goal was a seventh in 27 appearances for Lakay, who will be looking to better his tally of 12 goals and four assists in 41 appearances across all competitions last season.
It was also a second consecutive strike in two consecutive matches, after he got on the score sheet in a 3-0 win against Smouha a week prior.

Lakay will also be hoping that his recent performances do not go unnoticed by Bafana Bafana head coach Hugo Broos as all eyes turn to next year's 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
Bafana have already played four qualifying matches for the global showpiece, collecting two wins, a draw and a loss.

Lakay has not been a part of those games, raising questions about how highly he is rated by the Belgian mentor.
"We had Fagrie a few times with the national team, and honestly the performances of Fagrie were not good," Broos responded when asked about the player's snub for the AFCON.
"I saw then after that he doesn't always play with Pyramids, so again this is a choice you make and I made the choice not to take him into the selection."
In the Bafana squad, Lakay faces competition from Percy Tau, Oswin Appollis, Mihlali Mayambela, Lyle Foster and Elias Mokwana, among others.
