Following what was a difficult spell at Mamelodi Sundowns, Erwin Saavedra has needed a mere five months to surpass what he put together during his time at Chloorkop.
Saavedra is back in familiar surroundings at Club Bolivar in what is his third stint with the club from La Paz, Bolivia.

Just like was the case at Sundowns, Saavedra has a title chase at hand with his club top of the standings in the Clausura with six games played.
On a personal note, he has already played a dozen games (746 minutes) for Bolivar since rejoining in February and earned himself a national team recall ahead of the Copa America, before he was dropped for the final squad.
From those 12 games, he has started 10, playing mostly as a right-back.
The 28-year-old had a horror stay at Sundowns, managing only 10 appearances (totalling 265 minutes) in two years.
This meant The Brazilians took a financial knock from this transfer deal with Saavedra spending most of his time injured.
Saavedra recently reached 300 appearances for Bolivar, where he started out as a teenager in 2014.

Meanwhile, Colombian striker Efmamjjasond Gonzalez has needed just a single game to dust off the frustrations of what happened at Kaizer Chiefs.
Gonzalez completed his season-long loan stay at Chiefs with nothing to show after failing to score in 13 appearances amounting to 454 minutes.
This sunk him to amongst the worst strikers that have worn the Gold and Black colours.
Gonzalez failed to play any match from start to finish, including the four that he started, before returning to his parent club Real Santa Cruz.

Santa Cruz earned their first point of the season this past weekend after five games courtesy of Gonzalez's late penalty but remain bottom of the standings in Bolivia's top league.
Gonzalez left Santa Cruz as top scorer last year but failed to score in 22 matches in a row, inclusive of those he has played at Chiefs.
