Pitso Mosimane has sent a message to Rulani Mokwena following the latter's appointment as head coach of Wydad Casablanca.
The Moroccan giants wasted no time in seeing to it that the 37-year-old tactician joins them, as they revealed that as soon as they had heard Mokwena had parted ways with Mamelodi Sundowns, they pounced.

However, the tactician asked to be given 24 hours before starting with any negotiations as he was not in the right psychological state after what had happened between him and the Tshwane giants.
And voila, Wydad announced on Thursday that they had secured their big target from the southernmost tip of Africa!
Mokwena has already had his first press conference in Morocco, on the same day that his appointment was announced, where he revealed what it meant for him to be entrusted as the man to lead club that has three CAF Champions League stars on top of their badge.
Now, the man who has three Champions League titles next to his name as a coach – one with Sundowns and two with Al Ahly – has sent his well-wishes to his former assistant coach.
This is what 'Jingles' wrote on his official X page soon after the news was confirmed:
Congratulations Coach Rulani.
Big opportunity for you and many SA Coaches .
All the best in Casa.
South Africa has got lot of talented Coaches , and Coach Fadlu David never disappointed there.
# Dima Wydad.
These developments come hot on the heels of Mosimane publicly declaring his emotional state over Mokwena being let go by Sundowns last week.
"The sad part, he's let go at Sundowns. Ja, I'm… I'm not happy, you can feel my emotion. I'm not pretending. I just feel bad for him. Sundowns is a big club, Sundowns will sort themselves out, Sundowns is not about Pitso, Sundowns is not about Rulani, coaches come and go," said the Kagiso-born mentor, on the sidelines of the Engen Knockout Challenge in Johannesburg.
"I get emotional with this thing of Rulani. Why, because I know Rulani well, you have been there on my journey with Rulani. I was so humbled and appreciated that the little bit of contribution that I put when I came to Mamelodi Sundowns... I brought over coach Manqoba, I brought over coach Rulani, that they must help me in the process of building and making a better team that can compete in the continent," he added.
"That was the vision, and I think we can all say that we have achieved that vision, and we need to give credit to the people who contributed. I didn't do it alone, I had them on my side as my generals, my assistants, to help me, and they've helped me."

Mokwena will be comforted by knowing that the former Bafana Bafana coach is only a phone call away should he need advice in navigating the tricky North African territory, where winning is a non-negotiable for the fans and the scrutiny from the media is heightened on a coach coming in from the outside.
