With that job done, he will report back to his French base in need of just another two appearances to reach 150 at Reims.
The 28-year-old has taken his count to 148 to date playing for Reims since joining from Orlando Pirates in 2019.
Such has been the impression that Munetsi has made at the French club that he has regularly been linked with a move to the English Premiership.
Just this season, he has scored thrice in 10 appearances playing in central midfield and has been handed the armband on one occasion.
Goals have become a part of his game with 20 since he arrived in France, where he has been used in various positions through the spine.

The next two games for Reims are at home with the first on Saturday against Lyon, who feature Alexandre Lacazette, before they welcome Lens the following Friday.
Munetsi's incredible rise has taken him from the teenager who arrived at then First Division club FC Cape Town in 2015 with nothing but tenacity yet is now living his dream after going through Orlando Pirates and a loan at Baroka FC.
